Clubs & Activities

These 3^rd-5^th graders meet in the Art room with our Art Teacher, Ms. Gomer!  They learn entrepreneurial skills to be successful artists, not just in the classroom, but in real life application. They create anything from individualized sketchbooks, fundraising projects, culturally responsive projects, a deeper dive into specialty arts like tie-dye and paint pouring, etc. Through field experiences, students learn more about the great world of Art with opportunities for mural exploration, meeting artists, and learning from museum curators! 

The Girls and Boys Soccer Club train weekly to learn soccer skills and practice teamwork.  Each team has an opportunity to compete with other clubs around the school district.

Ramlettes

(3rd-5th Grade Dancers)

Our Ramlettes proudly perform at holiday programs, PTA meetings, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, community parades, pep rallies, and during special events with Adamson and Sunset High Schools. The Ramlettes also lead the dances in our Spring Musicals.

Our Cheerleaders also perform at community events, local competitions, PTA, and the Winter Program.  They represent our school with pride and much enthusiasm!  K-3rd are our JV Rams Cheer Team, and 4th & 5th grade are our Varsity Cheer squad!

Recycling Club meet once a week and create masterpieces out of anything and everything recyclable. What a fun way to help improve the environment!

Started in 2019, our Theater Club has performed Broadway Junior's and Disney’s "The Lion King," Spring Musical Disney’s "101 Dalmatians!" and "Shrek."  In addition, the team has performed in our Winter Programs and participated in readers' theater.

This club offers after school care in a safe and welcoming environment, homework help, and extracurricular activities.  Registration is closed at this time.

Our Chess Club has competed and placed in numerous online and in-person tournaments over the last few years.  We currently have Chess for our younger students K-2nd, as well as our 3rd-5th Grade competitors.

Students meet with peers for an enjoyable afternoon of coloring, enhancing fine motor skills and art appreciation.

Garden Club members assist with the beautification of our campus garden and the wellness of our environment. 

Electronic sports gaming in a collaborative and competitive environment is what our Esports club members enjoy!  Our students compete at least twice a year in online and in-person tournaments.  Club members meet to improve gaming skills on games like Super Smash Bros, MarioKart, and more.

Our Robotics students are in 4th & 5th grade and compete at all district level competitions.  They work collaboratively to build and use robots.  From simple machines, LEGO robots, and beyond, these students enjoy learning technology and engineering! 

Throughout the school year, students enter friendly academic competition during the Dallas ISD / University Interscholastic League (UIL) Elementary student activities.  Our RAMS have the opportunity and proudly participate in the following competitions offered: Listening Skills, Storytelling, Creative Writing, Ready Writing, Spelling, Dictionary Skills, Social Studies, Chess Puzzles, Number Sense, and Maps, Graphs & Charts.

Bike Club members learn about bicycle safety, proper cycling equipment, and environmental awareness in a fun way!  Participants are involved in community parades and team building picnics.
